Spooky Forest Fun!

We will be holding 2 ABIOGENESIS parties in The Endless Forest! The first Friday, October 31st, at 9pm GMT/UTC and the second on All Souls Day, Sunday, November 2nd, at 9am GMT/UTC.

We’ll be performing the first ABIOGENESIS live from FOAM Brussels’ “All Hallow’s Eve celebration of the Guild for Reality Integrators and Generators.” ha!

Weather Report: Expect mist! 😉

ABIOGENESIS: Pool Party. Let’s cool off.

abiogenesis.jul15_2008.PoolParty

Tuesday, July 15th at 9PM GMT we are holding another one of our (in)famous ABIOGENESIS performances inside The Endless Forest. This time we suggest, all you deer, take a swim in the pond. You will turn into a frog and shed your costumes, but in this heat that will feel so good! Now that you’re all cooled off, leave your deer behind for an out of body experience with the Twin Gods. Enjoy the party and spectacle in a whole new way by switching to ABIOGENESIS CAM mode with CTRL+W. Be carried through the forest and witness colors and forest magic like you haven’t before! Find out what time it’s happening in your area.

This performance will also be playing and playable at the E3 Expo in Los Angeles as part of the Indiecade Exhibition of Independent Games! We hear they’re also showing a giant art print of a still moment from TEF. If anyone happens to see it, and can send us a photo 😉 thx.

The Graveyard selected by Indiecade for E3

The Graveyard has been selected by IndieCade to be shown at their annual independent games showcase at E3 in Los Angeles, from 15 to 17 July.

IndieCade is an interesting project that promotes independent games from a refreshing new angle. As far as we can tell, their selection is more focussed on the artistic side of the medium with less hardcore tendencies than, for example, the Independent Games Festival. As a result, they are much more forward looking and more independent of games industry trends. Which makes for a nice selection of games.

Photo Post: GDC 2008: Independent Games Festival

We had a great time participating in the IGF this year with The Path! Even though we didn’t get the prize, seeing so many people play the demo every day taught us a lot about what is going right with the game as well as what is going wrong (-.-)! Thanks to everyone who stopped by the booth. We got so much excellent feedback, along very sore feet and hoarseness from talking so much, but we are looking forward to (hopefully) doing it all again next year!

Play The Path at GDC!

We will be in San Francisco next week, attending the Game Developers Conference. A playable demo of The Path will be available from Wednesday to Friday at the Independent Games Festival pavilion in the expo (North Hall 5138). The IGF award ceremony is on Wednesday evening. The Path is nominated in the “Excellence in Visual Art” category. Fingers crossed!

If you find yourself at the conference, be sure to come and say hello! :)

For those who stay at home, here’s some work-in-progress gameplay footage to tide you over:
