We had some technical difficulties and a lot of you couldn’t view the party last week. We’re sorry about that… Thing is, this aspect of The Endless Forest is in some desperate need of an upgrade. Once the Mac version of The Path is out we should have some time to think about how we can do some fund raising to save The Forest. But, you have to admit, its still a beautiful place, even after all these years.

A Saturday Forest Festival
The Path will have been out for a month this Saturday. Has it really ONLY been one month?? To us it seems much much longer!
To celebrate this birthday, we think it’s time… for a party in The Endless Forest!

This party celebrates youth, in honor of the Red Girls. We’ll do our best to make you feel young (again.)

All this stuff about The Path does not diminish the activity in The Endless Forest in the slightest. In the game as on the community site, where people share their experiences as well as some of the most amazing fan art I’ve seen. Like the picture below, for instance.
Deutsches interview
Achim Fehrenbach has turned a telephone interview into a nice article and got it published in both Zoomer and Der Tagesspiegel. It’s about The Path, but also about some of our other projects. In German. Hopefully this helps getting the word out in the German speaking world.

And to top it all off, some TEF fans went and made a wikipedia entry for the game. It’s our first time being in Wikipedia so, we’re excited.
Hopefully its meeting the wikipedia guidelines and they won’t take it down.
Now, I just need to convince Michael that he should be a “twitterer” and “tweet”… he finds it all quite undignified. 😉

On our request, long time player, forum moderator and The Endless Forest Club leader Jennifer Stuber has edited together a lovely calendar exclusively featuring artwork created by the talented players of the game. The pictures were freely submitted by their creators and democratically selected by the community. The calendar clearly testifies of the amazing creativity that can be found among the players of our little free online game. And the print quality courtesy of Deviant Art is very decent, indeed. All proceeds of the sales go entirely to further not-for-profit development of The Endless Forest.

Spooky Forest Fun!
We will be holding 2 ABIOGENESIS parties in The Endless Forest! The first Friday, October 31st, at 9pm GMT/UTC and the second on All Souls Day, Sunday, November 2nd, at 9am GMT/UTC.
We’ll be performing the first ABIOGENESIS live from FOAM Brussels’ “All Hallow’s Eve celebration of the Guild for Reality Integrators and Generators.” ha!
