I think the industry is shifting away from being conservative. Every day it seems more and more like indie titles are beginning to crossover. We still need a game to change mass game opinions though and who knows when or even if that will happen.
I think the industry is shifting away from being conservative. Every day it seems more and more like indie titles are beginning to crossover. We still need a game to change mass game opinions though and who knows when or even if that will happen.
I think several independent games of the last year or two have proven to distributors, particularly online distributors, that there’s profit in distributing independent games. I think the distributors are just as conservative as ever, because it’s profit – hardly a leap into the unknown. And, above all, The Path is a good game.
