When I'm in The Forest, many noises reach my deers ears.
The sounds can include the calling of my fellow deer.
I hear mooing and... Whistling?
It's an airy whistle that enters the air and echos.
I love the sound, but I have no idea what mask makes it.
Please help?

IMO, it would be better to find that out for yourself, either by observing others, or trying the masks out when they're casted on you.
I mean, wouldn't doing the above be more exciting, than knowing outright which mask it is, and not needing to do the above? |

That is very true, but just today I 'asked' two other deer to cast Spells on me.
They cast Pelts, Antlers, and Masks on my deer.
I wasn't sure what I was looking for in the Masks, so I just waited until I found one that I liked.
Every time they cast a Mask on me I mooed to hear my voice change.
It took more then ten minutes and tons of repeats before I gave up on the whistling Mask.
I'm not sure, but I think I went through every Mask there was.
Is there an area in the Forum where I can see all the Masks available to us deer? |

Thank you!
...
I know this isn't really part of this question, or rather, it sort of is, but I've heard that you can only get the Zombie Deer Set (Antlers, Mask, and Pelt) by doing something with Spell-Data?
Can anyone tell me if this is true, or will it come back during the Day Of The Deer?
What even really is Spell-Data? How can it be given from one player to the other?
(I'm not looking to give Spell-Data or receive it, I'm merely confused about the issues and the entire thing in general.)
(I'm sorry if this should go somewhere else... I'm rather new here.)

There isn't really much point in explaining how you can get them outside of Halloween, since it does involve sharing and/or editing spell data which is not allowed. But there is an exception: If someone uses an older version of TEF they can cast the DotD sets on other users.
Spell Data was/is the file in which all your pelt/mask/antler data is stored and tells the game what to show on your deer. Presently the Spell Data is server side due to M and A not liking people sharing the data and editing it as it was going against their wishes. In other words Spell Data is now inaccessable whereas in the past it wasn't. |
