Oh wow, what a shame, I was so exited.

But I really don't want to ruin the server. I guess it was even kind of expectable..so thanks a lot for even trying it.

That's so sad. Sad I understand why you have to cancel it though.

Kinda knew it would be canceled since it rose to so many people. I was on for about five minutes. Suddenly shifted to a new pelt and mask, then went back to a default deer then..It crashed... Confused

Thank you for trying though. It was fun seeing everyone in the forest at once.

You're right about that Mimi.

I've been online for hours, just to celebrate and I think that while the Abiogenesis would've been the highlight, just preparing for it already was fun enough.

So im not the only one who didn't see a single *Bleep* thing then?

I logged in almost a hour n a half in advance. Lots of people gathered in the fog, (I have pics). Then at start time *POOF* all vanished! Nothing else changed, the fog was still there/ I was still a fawn, but I was not connected. I ran around for a moment, then suddenly I couldn't move at all. So I closed, came back, no connection until the last 15 min or so, then no fog at all.

(My highest count was 136 on at one time)

That's because it was canceled due to the Server crash. Too many people connected and it crashed the server.

Again, sorry for the cancellation.

We want to create a system that limits the amount of people who can visit an ABIOGENESIS festival. So then it can at least happen. At least for some people. So you'd have to get a virtual ticket to get in. We're also thinking of charging for these tickets (at least some of the time). So that finally The Endless Forest can generate some money (on top of your kind donations), which may make it possible to improve the game.

That sounds like an interesting idea. Most of the players are old enough to at least contribute, yes?
Some may complain that this is too exclusive, but I really see no problem with the proposed idea. Is that possible, Michael? To set the game to allow only certain usernames to log in at a certain time?
(Also, the forest is lovely! I was away when it was changed, bah..)

I'm not for it.
It seems to turn TEF into something like all the other MMORPGS where you have to pay for better content. I like the idea of TEF being free and everyone being equal in what they can see and have access to.
If TEF was to result in this, it would be very misleading to your original concept that it was to be free. It is also unjust as many players cannot afford or simply cannot pay for the game. The game would become exclusive and inaccessible. It would essentially be elitist.
Doesnt it say somewhere that TEF is and always will be free?

Also, I'm old enough and cannot contribute.

There has to be another way.

What about having a 'cut off' point? where the servers allow a specific amount of people on. And then when it reaches that number it doesnt let any others access it? And of course when the Abio ends this 'cut off' number is removed.
