<  Endless Forest News  ~  Beta 9 of version 3.4 is ready for testing

Please download and test the latest beta of The Endless Forest and post any bugs or errors you find here.

You may need to run the installer as Administrator.
This is a workaround for the dialog box error.

The sound issues should be mostly fixed now. But if anything still sounds wrong, please let us know with instructions on how to reproduce the error.

The faulty display of generation 2 pictograms has been fixed as well.

The display of the Polish translation was corrected.

Just started testing, uninstalled everything before reinstalling.

So far, yes that box error is gone! Very Happy

But the second generation pictos still appear to be glitched, indifferent to how they've been since their patch was released.

I'll test music sounds when I next encounter a dance party. Very Happy

Please take screenshots of pictograms of player's whose deer name you know and post them, so I can verify. It's possible that this problem will only really be resolved after everyone upgrades to the new version.

I think you're right about that.
I only know one fellow beta tester with a 2nd gen picto, her second gen picto appeared unglitched while the rest remained glitched!

Also, dance music. <3 met a dance party, but the music still doesn't seem to be getting loader with the more dancers who play.

I clean-installed the new beta, installing and playing as an administrator.

I did not get any sort of error message with the previous Beta, but am now getting this whenever it starts:

7AA7FD0B-3659-4e43-9575-7D2E495AF90E.dll

(That's also the name of the window of the message, so I have no idea what that means)

If I click "OK" the game continues to load normally, though.

Yeah, same with me. Loads normally and everything. Except it doesn't have all the buttons. :/

I have all my buttons, but would like to add that there's no dance music at all. I may need to check my volume next time...

Can you please include a bit more information when reporting a bug?

What buttons are you talking about?
What seems to be missing?

When did this problem start?
With this beta?
Does it occur in version 3.31?

Have you done a clean install?

Does the black border around the screen show?

What is the "fighting area"?
