I was just flipping though The Path's forum and I thought of something.
What if the Path (well, both of them) was endless? No matter how long you walked, you'd be unable to reach grandmother's house without leaving the Path?
WHAT IF?
It's a bit ridiculous, but the thought is tormenting me now, what if, what if, what if? |

| The Path does borrow some things from The Endless Forest. You'll see. But the route to grandmother's house is straight and simple. At least if you do it "properly". |

| Ah, sounds interesting. I'll be on the lookout for crossover things now. |

| I wonder if we'll pass by the ruins or something? That'd be pretty awesome. Or go over the stone bridge. Reminds me of the rhyme: through the woods and over the river, to grandmother's house we go. Is there a river or a bridge? |

I've got another question or idea now, perhaps when The Path is released, some of the objects from the game might be implemented into the Forest? Just some celebratory cross-over. |

| I've mentioned this before, a deer that can be spotted in the distance and disappears as you approach. Subtle, though. More a deer-shaped shadow, and you'd have to be looking for it. |

I'm quite certain that there'll be crossovers. Just look at the Girl in the Pretty White Dress who appears in 8, The Path, and sometimes in the forest. And in the trailer, I'm quite certain that Ruby (nice to have a name to put to her face now ) is in the Ename Ruins when crying at the grave. The gravestones and flowers look very familiar. |

Exactly , they are using lots of objects from the forest in The Path, so why not put some of the new objects made for the Path into the Forest?
Also- shadow deer is a cool idea Stehuaa! |

We definitely want to at least try and do some of these crossover things. But right now our focus is on simply getting The Path done. |

| No, because there is no sticky post "Path released" or "Path selling numbers" |

To answer that in a slightly more polite way, The Path is scheduled to be released in Spring 2009. |

| Back to the idea of crossovers: do you think the Path will the the sort of game that could support later downloadable content? It's just a thought for add ons or extras that could be available later, once you finish the game and don't have such a deadline. |
