Claimed by many as the first 3D game, Continuum (or Alpha Waves as it was originally called in France) allows the player to explore a world by hopping on platforms and moving from room to room. While there are many "conventional" aspects of the game, such as points and time limits in the Action mode, the player can play the Emotion mode and exlore a part of the world without time limits or worrying about racking up points.

It was released in 1990, and I loved to play this game as a little kid. Anyone else remember it?

The point of this thread in this section is to point out that great graphics do not equal great games. While good graphics can add dimension to a game's story, the graphics don't necessarily have to be good in order for the game to be good (even though Continuum was considered to have pretty darn good graphics for its time).
