I have parents in Georgia and other relatives, even lived in GA fo a while. Those tornados are definitely serious! Several had passed by both family and friends back then. |

Here in South Carolina, we get some severe storms. My first year living down here was marked with the first tornado I ever saw. It was amazing.
But the real storms to watch out for where I live, those monsters called hurricanes. But it's easier to get out of the way of a hurricane, rather than a tornado.
There were two tornadoes, well, one was actually a waterspout. The one I saw touched down near the airport.
This here is the waterspout.

HOLY! That's one big waterspout! and are those specks on the beach people watching this monster? And I do agree with the hurricanes, my brother was caught in Katrina while he was taking flight school.
I nearly got hit by two tornados when I was still in Elementary school, once when I was sleeping in the den, and once during school in the middle of a thunderstorm that sounded like atomic bombs exploding around O.=.o That waterspout looked like an F2 or F3 size, not quite big enough for F4, but still something to watchout for. |

I just saw this today, I had just taken a flight out an hour before the tornado from Atlanta (yes I go to school there yay yellow jackets) but thank you for your hopes, they mean a lot. Very lucky it wasn't worse and that no one was killed. |

Makes me glad I live in a place where tornadoes are the last thing you worry about, and by the time hurricanes get here they're reduced to tropical storms.
A couple of the few good things about New Jersey. ^^; |

Oh really? I was actually at the Georgia Tech campus the day of the tornadoes.
My friend's friend's house was destroyed, and his dog was killed. Fortunately no people where harmed, but losing a pet like that must be awful. |
