Sad to hear so Michael. Let's hope that we can do as much as possible in the project with DAE |

I know there has been talk of fundraising already, but count me in. I don't mind donating my time or abilities to the cause.
Stuff I can do:
Custom illustrations + prints
T-shirts
Custom T-shirts (get your own pictogram on a shirt, anyone?)
Custom sculptures
and possibly mass-produce small resin figurines (paint-your-own?)
Other stuff (mugs, mousepads, aprons, coasters, luggage tags, christmas tree ornaments, etc) |

NO! THIS IS ATROCIOUS!
Maybe, just maybe I can ask my dad if we could donate, even if it were just a tiny bit-- anything to help. I showed him TEF again just recently and I think he's starting to "get it" (for lack of a better phrase), so maybe he will understand and agree that it'd be a good idea to donate.
I can't allow myself to stand by and not help in any way. |

That would be fabulous, leep! |

Thank you for all your willingness and ideas to help support the project!
Auriea and I will give it some thought and see if we can organize something. |

Pfft, who needs art funding with a community like this?
Unfortunately, my parents are still vetoing any donation I might make, and all my finances go through them. =( I'll try and be more persuasive. |

I've just run into that problem too. If the only method to donate is via paypal, I can't donate. If it were SMS paying, like Habbo Hotel, then I could do it without my parents knowing.. |

I love the community here, and how we all jumped to help out. Everyone wants to see the forest grow, even if we have to sacrifice some money. I myself think anything that had your personal pictogram would be something so awesome considering the pictogram is something unique just to TEF. It would also be like an advertisement! Other people would ask you what it was and you could direct them to this site (or the site would be printed on the product somewhere).
And Rah-bop you deserve all the praise you get, when I came back to TEF and saw you did some of the Halloween concept art I was so excited to see that you played TEF. You should try going to a convention sometime, Im sure you could make enough money to cover the trip from commissions if you got a table, and they are so much fun. Unless of course you already have gone xD
But conventions remind me, if we want to advertise TEF (not sure if we do or not, Im not sure how many players TEF can handle or if we want a lot more players) but I go to at least two conventions a year (including the biggest one dealing with anthros) so I could easily put some fliers around if you needed me to. |

Ohhh yes, maybe having a flyer in PDF form for people to print out and run around with at cons would be good? I've never been to one, but lots of people go, and it'd be a good way to get the word out.
=edit=
You know, I wonder if in a way this could be seen a good thing?
For a long time, cliche games have dominated the market, right? Well, if our funding has gone, and TEF can still make it just with the power of its users, would that not prove to the gaming market that unconventional does not mean unprofitable? It'd be a lovely slap in the face to the folks who think a project like this is stupid. |
