Reminds me of those completely off the wall warning labels on products haha.
You... you stole one of my favourite quotes!
Douglas Adams is the best. All my favourite quotes are his:
[re. Horoscopes]"What can balls of rock and burning fiery gasses whirling through space know something about my day that I don't?"
"The humans thought that they were smarter than the dolphin because they had acheived so much (the wheel, wars, New York etc), whereas all the dolphins had done is muck about in the water and have a good time. The dolphins, however, thought they were smarter that the human for prescisly the same reasons."
..and more!

Quote: "If you fall off a horse, just get back on again."
Love that one! And:
Quote: " Wolves are our brothers, they take the sick and leave us the healthy."

This is a quote from Homer Simpson (Or at least it's on my Simpsons Mug). It describes me in a nutshell. xD
"If something's too hard to do, don't bother doing it at all." |

Verdalas: that quote sounds like Mark Twain's "Never put off until tomorrow what you can avoid altogether."
I love quotes, so hard to pick a favorite...but I think I'll have to say these:
"Are you going to come quietly, or do I have to use earplugs??"
and my daughter's "You scared the crayons out of me! The pink ones, and the white ones!!" ^^ |

Haha. I remember watching a TV show where someone said "Are you going to come quietly?" and the other person shouted 'no' and started screaming like a baby.
T'was hilarious. xD |

Thats so cute!
My favorite quotes will always be from my little sister- A person whose capacity for opening her mouth without thinking will never cease to amaze! XD
My #1 quote from her though is from when she went to see the school nurse with her friend:
"I haven't actually got anything, I'm just here for moral support!"
...and this group of snotty year 9 girls who were also there just gave her the most hated look XD
...But my favorite non-sibling quote is from Thoreau:
"Every generation laughs at the old fashions, but follows religiously the new." |

personally i've gotta stick with my own quotes from my comics and when i got board and started rhyming sh.... tuff. yeah shtuff.
"good and bad are a line, a line that blew its self to shit about the same time i started killing people to help them"
"the world is screwing its self over! dont you care?-
not if i've gotta get up at three in the morning i dont"
"come on kill this idiot!-
which one?!?!"
"I'M NOT A DEMON! I'M JUST ALLERGIC TO THE ENSLAVING CHEMICALS IN HOLY WATER!"
and now the wise saying i come up with...
"when in absence is hope and need, what motivates us is fear and greed"
"we do not know better nor worse we only know different"
those are my favorties |

Yorda wrote: "On ne voit bien qu'avec le cœur, l'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux." - Le Petit Prince, 1943
"It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye."
<3 more Petit Prince quotes (>_< in english for me, I read it in french sometimes, but not too often)
"To me, you are still only a small boy,
just like a hundred thousand other small boys.
And I have no need of you. And you in turn have no need of me.
To you, I’m just a fox like a hundred thousand other foxes.
.
But if you tame me, then we shall need each other.
To me, you shall be unique in the world.
To you, I shall be unique in the world. "
and my favourite favourite
"Grown-ups never understand anything by themselves, and it is tiresome for children to be always and forever explaining things to them." |

That last one is one of the most sensible things anyone has ever said, ever.
The Little Prince is a beautiful book...some books are well-written, gripping or thought-provoking...The Little Prince is beautiful. |

Yes! *high-fived* I'd quote the entire "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" if I had the patience. He has such a great sense of humor; I've never laughed so hard over a book. |
