This one is close to our interpretation, in a way.
It seems to refer to characters that I'm unfamilar with. (it's categorized as fan art)

I thought I'd look through for some pictures as well, and I did come across a creepy one of an adult Red Riding Hood in bed with Wolverine from X-Men. Weird..

However, I DID like this image. I think it kinda represents The Path well, because the girl that's going to walk through the forest will probably be so horrified by what she sees that her eyeballs will BLEED.

Here's another variation: are the wolves her friends or are they slowly undressing her like the batchelors the bride, even?
(and the red of her clothing really starts to resemble blood, doesn't it?)

There's a whole thread here devoted to Red Ridinghood illustrations.

This is interesting...

It looks like the girl has wolf paws instead of hands...

On the path, clearly refering to the concept of death and (re)birth:

This one refers to an element that has been removed in later versions of the story: the eating of bits of the grandmother by Red Ridinghood.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg. It apparently is a very inspiring story.
