Or specifically the dreams of a game developer.
a japanese PS1 game which which was more an experience than a game looks very very interesting (as a historical oddity) and another example of games that have no goal.
via the selectbutton forums:
http://forums.selectbutton.net/viewtopic.php?t=3347&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0
Quote: There is no goal in LSD. You can walk in four directions, you can look behind you with the L1 or R1 buttons, you can strafe with the L2 and R2 buttons, and you can look up with the triangle button. There's no "jump" or "use" button; you're purely an observer in the world of LSD.
somewhat related: LaLa Land 4

i've played all 5 but 4 is the best. weird but not so weird if you're familiar with art games made by people in the new media scene. |

I don't think they can be "run", I think they're usually meant to be written to a CD and related to .cue files and .iso files. In other words it's just a big chunk of data which can't be read alone, it's meant to be a backup of a CD. I've never dealt with them, my impression is that their main use is in piracy, but they probably have other uses. |

We've haven't been able to make the LSD bin run either.
There is an application called Isobuster that allows you to open BIN files. Don't know if that would help, though. |

Auriea, do you know where to get LaLa Land #1? I've downloaded #2-#5 but #1 has a broken link and I can't find it anywhere else. |

Tsk tsk, all these deer using LSD. Don't you know not to use drugs, kids?
Anyway, sounds interesting, though nobody has described it enough to really catch my interest enough for me to hunt down how to play it. |
