I've posted about how my little 4 year old brother is quite a gamer, and plays The Endless Forest with me often. Well, I played The Graveyard with him too!
At first he was a bit scared. XD But I think he was more fascinated than frightened.
I guided the old woman first while he asked me 4-year-old questions like "Who's is da ole woman?" (Who is the old woman?) and "Where's she's going?" (Where is she going?)
He was kind of making up his own story as he went along. When he heard the dog bark he was like "Is that's her's doggy?" (Is that her doggy?) I answered that I don't know, "you tell me".
Then I let him take over guiding the woman. He had fun. XD He has great hand-eye coordination so it was pretty easy for him to control her. He wandered around a bit and then I told him that we have to get to the bench.
So we got to the bench and listened to part of the song. But I think he got a bit restless XD So he stood up and guided the woman back to the gate.
So all in all, he was a little bit scared because, well, you're in a shadowy black-and-white graveyard with an old woman. XD But he was fascinated with it. So thanks again, M + A, for entertaining my baby brother! |

| I loved the Graveyard, but I have to admit that that song gave me nightmares and I cannot stand it. I mean the composer did a very good job of making it eerie imo because I trembled like a leaf when I heard it, just... I dunno D¦ But holy cow. I ...balrjkga. It was beautiful altogether but that one thing really made me fear touching the game again. |

Gerry De Mol's work is always a mix of tragedy and comedy. That's what makes him brilliant! |

The song was very interesting to me. It kind of sparked many emotions - I felt comedy, sadness, even regret. It was weird. But cool. |

| I like that the four-year-old gets the woman off the bench and leads her back out the graveyard before she's had a chance to... y'know. |

| Yeah. I think it's neat. The child doesn't have the patience to sit and die - he's got to keep moving! I dunno, it seemed cool to hear. :] |

| I played that once, but I could make the lady sit still for long. What are you supposed to do, just sit there? for how long, and what is supposed to happen? |

| Just leaving her on the bench is the only thing you can do. But whether or when she dies is random. Though it can only happen in the full version of the game, not in the trial. |

I always wanted to buy the full version of the game, but I would have to use my mom's PayPal account, and she'd see that I wanted to watch an animated old lady die in a black-and-white graveyard and think that I was emo...she already worries about me cuz I'm on this forum all the time ... I try not to care what other people think of me but it's getting harder to.

| Maybe you should let your mother into your world and allow her see these things the way you see them. Make sure that she understand why you like these things. And don't let her make up her own answers (she will anyway, but make sure that she's informed). I'm speaking as a parent here: even if I don't approve, I still want to know why my children are interested in certain things. |

| You're right. I will try to do that. I also earned $40 and want to donate it to The Endless Forest BUT will have to use her account...and same for The Path...so I'll explain why I like this company and their games so much. |

Yes, the one I've been working on! She knows I've been working on writing up a Wikipedia page but I don't think she knows exactly what it is. Yes, when the time comes to buy The Path I'll just be dead honest with her and pay for it with my own money. |
