Seems like a lot of people had bad luck D: I was so tired last night I couldnt barely stay up till 3am. Plus with Daylight Savings going back an hour it was like BAUGH MOAR HOURS.

^please ignore the fact that these statements make no sense.

Wait, oh no. Don't tell me that All Souls was LAST NIGHT?

Oh well, our power went out anywas, so knowing it was last night would have only made it worse.

And I don't know why I didn't remember/try to come to the Abio on halloween night. Neutral

We sort of intended Halloween to be for people to the West of us and All Souls for people to the East. You shouldn't stay up so late! Wink

We personally really liked the All Souls celebration. It felt a lot better to us to do Abiogenesis at home in our pyjamas than in a crowd of people (like we did in Halloween). But I'd like to see comments of people who attended both to see what you prefered.

I went to both, and the All Souls one was the best Abio I ever went to. The subtle beginning was just... *shivers with delight* I was on iScribble at the time, waiting for the beggining, and was this sort of silence on the chatbox followed by Guys... did you hear those bells? Bells? What bell? There those! Woa bells! XD

And it was so much more subtle and atmospheric, less of a carnival more ritual-like. I like carnival as well, but it was a georgeous change. ^^

To be completely honest (I was talking about this earlier with some other members), I like the smaller ABIOGENESISES (abiogenesi? abiogenesis's?) better. Like for instance, I remember my first abio when I first joined (March 2007 Laughing), I swear there was like 10-20 people there. It was a lot more personal and the gods didn't get mobbed like they do now. There was actual interaction between deer and not just trying to follow the gods around and get the black pelt and wrestling masks.

Of course, there are upsides and downsides to the recent popularity. Very Happy

I don't think anyone ever has (or ever will) be punished for double or even triple posting on this forum.

It's kinda... internet etiquette though, we're just used to apologizing for it. Smile

edit: Did I say used to apologizing? How do you even spell that word? Yousted? I give up. Laughing

You're right, Jen. Smaller Abiogenesis festivals have their charm. We'll try to figure out a way to have those again. Perhaps like theater does it: instead of one (or two) big shows, we have 10 small ones? Would be a lot of work though (maybe we can charge for tickets!...).

I agree with Jen. Smaller Abiogeneses (I think that's how you pluralize Abgiogenesis?) are mush more enjoyable.

I like the idea of several small performances, just not the paying for admission part. Wink

Paying admission would be a great way to keep the number of deer down AND help fund our wonderful game! Smile

Why not? Everybody wants Abios and new pelts and new features and upgrades. The funding has to come from somewhere. I've donated. I'm not saying all the Abios should require tickets but why not have some that require a ticket?

As long as it's just -some-, otherwise it will always be the same lucky few deer going to Abio's and everyone else complaining about it.
