Does it have to be dark or mature?
If not...

About her biting the wolf's nose...

Isn't there a thing, that when your dog bites you, you bite it back to show your the alpha?

maybe that's what it means. But it's one hell of a sculpture! =]

o_O That's true.

Perhaps it's LRRH taking control of her more mature impulses?

That particular Red seems to be too young to have "mature impulses" (XD). But I'm willing to stick with the "I'm the alpha" thing, especially as the wolf also seems young-ish. Like puppies play-fighting.

Not necessarily. About the impulses, I mean. For reasons no one is quite sure of, people have been maturing younger and younger. The youngest mother ever was only five years old. And while I admit she was too young to have any say in what happened, that doesn't mean she felt no sexual impulses. You never know.

Evidence: http://www.snopes.com/pregnant/medina.asp

Edit: Allthough, now that I think about it, the artist probably didn't have that little-known fact in mind.

...

I'm now thoroughly disturbed. Very much so. I probably shouldn't be, but that whole situation just makes me uncomfortable.

Sculpture-girl doesn't seem physically mature, though.

HOLY-
-head explodes-

That's scary as hell. How can a someone get pregnant before puberty?

I really, really hope it was a C-section.

She had something called precocious puberty, where you reach physical maturity much, much earlier than usual. But it was C-section, yes, because her pelvis wasn't wide enough.

My friend knew someone (or knew someone who knew someone, I forget) whose period started in year four...that's about eight or nine years of age. And of course you don't get any sex ed back then, so apparently she was all "WHAT'S HAPPENING TO ME?" and the teacher was completely out of their depth.

Sounds nightmarish to me.

If it's off topic, then please post in the off-topic/life thread, rather than a thread about something hardly related to what you're asking.

It's weird how in The Red Scarf, the wolf doesn't look particularly aggresive or scary. Can't find any meaning in it at the moment, but it's interesting.

Yeah, that is interesting. The wolf's blue eyes and kind of anthro-ish hair makes it seem like the wolf might be Red herself in some way or another, though who knows.

Red definitely is a wolf in this one: Red hood cuter by elsevilla

And another by the same artist.
