LOVE the color scheme! for some reason it looks odd. maybe because it is so well thought out/harmonious.
and the slight stylization fo the models isvery apropriate, sculptural, beautiful.
reminds me of illustrations in old national geographic magazines

Not a game but a movie (made by Michel Ocelet, who made Kiriku). So they get to cheat.
But still a very interesting and different aesthetic use of 3D. And oddly similar to what we were going for in 8.
Official site of the movie: http://www.azuretasmar-lefilm.com/demo.html

I have Fatal Frame 1 & 2!
They're very good games, but very creepy. If you have vibrate on, then the gamepad mimics the rhythm of your character's heartbeat..
It scared the living daylights out of me.. |

Shadow of the colossus and Ico
Made by the best artistic team I've ever laid eyes on.
I guess they are dead to me now though, becasue I refuse to buy a ps3 and I have no hope of their next game coming out on any other console. |

Okami is an incredibly beautiful game that does not have that "trying to be real" sense.

I would bring up the first Tomb Raider, but it may seem a bit outdated for most. It was pretty awesome for its time, though.
Then there's Sacrifice. It was not marketed well enough, IMO. I thought it had a lot of potential. I was such a Stratos nut. |

I totally agree! Tomb Raider 1 is an aesthetic masterpiece. It may seem outdated now because the technology is in so much flux. But once that settles, I think we will be able to recognize its value. |

You should. You're still in for a surprise. |
