I think it's pronounced Ka-Pu-See-Nay or Ka-Pu-Shin.
^ They have the trailer link to Youtube there as well, and if not, I'll post it. It's being developed for the PC as a prototype but they desire to put it on the Wii. It reminds me so much of Ico, though I love their philosophy. You play as a girl on a dying planet, who only has the power of a light that controls plants to aid her, and a single flower that will decide the fate of this world. The ideal behind the game is one of ecology and non-violence; the girl (a maternal figure, I suppose) uses her powers to create and aid rather than destroy. I'm loving it. I hope they suceed.
Oh, and for those who don't speak French (which as seeing as this is a Belgian based game company's forum, I'm sure a fair amount do, but I know a handful are from the states, like me) the opening line in the trailer is "It had been a time..." which...doesn't make much sense, even with my bad third-year French translation. |

I think the opening line means "Once upon a time..."
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. It's very nice. It reminds me a bit of our own 8 as well (reviving a palace rather than nature).
I like the game mechanic. It seems like they give the player a lot of power in the world. Which is refereshing after all those game-games that thrive on making you feel completely powerless.
It's a student project, though. So I don't know how likely it is that it will every really get made. |
