We have uploaded the first beta of version 1.5 to the streaming client.
Since the world of version 1.5 is bigger than the world of 1.0, strange things will occur during this transition phase with deer appearing and disappearing like magic. So please bear with us while we're testing. We are trying to have an official 1.5 release ready by early February.
If you would like to join the beta-testing, you will need a new version of the streaming client that can be downloaded here. Please be warned that this is test software and as such less stable than the official release. Only do this if you feel like experimenting. And keep a clean version of the normal client on your system, in case the streaming one breaks. |

Some gorgeous new stuff in 1.5!
[------------------]
A cross, perhaps? A coincidence? Proof of human contact?
[------------------]
A fountain fashioned like the pagan idols.
[------------------]
A lovely pond, complete with water ripples!
[------------------]
Near the same pond - showing off part of a weeping willow.
[------------------]
Some new flowers! |

a NEW ACTION!!
and
a flowerbomb which is quite beautiful, but too short in my opinion - I didn't have time to click the picture (once I figured out what it was) before the flowers were gone....neat object though.
Flowerbomb:
Also some other flowers and animals but I won't ruin all the exploratory adventure - I just hope my fun intrigues others. |

It's greaaat~!!!
And I saw a flowerbomb too, awesome! XD
I have a screenshot but you should see it all by yourself =3
But I wonder why all my fellow deers keep on lurking near the ruines when this AWESOME pond is just nearby! GO TO THE POND, IT KEEPS A REAL GREAT TRICK! XD (I think this trick works everywhere in the forest, but I couldn't get behind it yet)
But there were a few bugs:
- When starting the stream for the first time my computer crashed after a few seconds. I was ingame for about 30 seconds when it suddenly did a reboot o.o
- Whatever the "anti-alias"-thing is: it makes my computer close to a crash when trying to figure it out |

The reboot is problematic. Please let us know if it happens again.
Yeah, the anti-aliasing switch is experimental. We'll continue to work on that later. It currently only works on ATI cards and you can only use it to turn anti-aliasing on, not off.
The reason why most people are still near the ruin is because they are still using the old client. We're stil testing this new one before we release it. |

The pond is GREAT! At first the water just kept blinking in and out, I put the Anti-Alias up to medium and it looks good now. I noticed some things are missing though.. I liked the cage in the middle of the ruins and see it is gone now:( I don't understasnd the AbioGenesis camera. It just all goes brown. Can you explain this option? Thanks!

I'll check on the cage tomorrow.
The Abiogenesis camera is just for use during live performances of the Twin Gods (we'll organize a few tests later this week!). But good that you mention it.
The blinking pond problem sounds odd. And that it goes away with anti-aliasing is even odder. Could you send us a screenshot of how it looks without? (turning off anti-aliasing might require a restart of the game) |

It doesn't seem to be blinking in and out anymore. I turned anti-aliasing and still no blink. Hmmm.. it only did it the first time I ran the program.
Edit: It just started blinking again. It seems to be only the color though:
It goes from the crisp blue to this. It is the blue of the water blinking on and off fast. |

It didn't happen again, just at the very first loggin.
I had the water blinking problem too, but it works fine now, I didn't have to restart the game.
In the "normal" version of the game sometimes my ability to hop just "disappeared". The button was still there but the deer didn't hop. The hop is fine now, but now the deer call doesn't work occasionaly o.o |

| When I move the water in the stream flashes on and off if I'm not down in it. |

| Thank you for the screenshots Freyamoon. And all the others for the bug reports. We'll look into this water blinking issue today. |

| FYI: I did a complete uninstall of all Endless forest files and only installed the 1.5 stream beta and had no blinking water issues after that - perhaps its coincidence, I don't know. |

| The blinking issue might be related to anti-aliasing. We will upload an attempt to fix it later today. |
