I hope this doesen't get deleted as spam, as it's not a review, but i'm posting it here because it's both an indie game and about animals, so i really think you'd be interested in it.

Maybe you've heard of the game Creatures, where you took care of cute monkey-like critters called norns, and taught them to eat and stay away from danger.
It's a really complex game behind the cutesy front, every norn is actually unique and has a genetic code, brain and biochemistry, so they learn from experience, and also you can breed smarter ones... it's an actual Real Life simulation.

Well, the person who came up with it is making a new game, to follow up on Creature's legacy and to fund his Artificial Intelligence and ALife experiments. So to get an awesome game out, and play a part in the developement of Al, please consider making a contribution here on Kickstart

Awesome, didn't expect many people here to know about Creatures.

Just vouching here, Creatures is an amazingly brilliant game, and Grandroids shows much promise. DONATED!

I loved Creatures. I hope this guy ends up making this game! I'm saving the link so I can donate when I get some money together.

Thanks for the link!

Guys, I'm a little new in The Endless Forest.
I wonder if the deer grows in the game, and why I can't let a fixed skin color, horns and masks it, because after a time disappears. Can anyone help me?..... :O
