Please test the latest beta version of The Endless Forest 3.4. You can download the installer here.
There's still a few minor issues that we want to fix. But we can do that in a follow-up release, later. Because we want to get version 3.4 out there before the Halloween festivities start.
So please check if no unexpected show-stopping bugs showed up and let us know.
So we can release version 3.4 officially in a few days. |

The Pictogram glitch is finally gone, that's so great.
The Pictos now show up normally for everyone.
If you happen to have that extra wave on top of your pictogram that didn't show up when you registered your picto but was there when logging into TEF, it is now also visible to everyone. Before that, it was only visible to yourself when in The Forest. I am assuming that this part was glitched in the pictogram viewer before, so it didn't show up there (and in The Forest).
((While talking about pictograms, is there any idea of what may cause the circling Gen2-Pictograms on the TEFc? I thought it was because the link led to "symbol.swf" instead of "symbol2.swf" but that would be too simple.))
Haven't done much else besides admiring the fixed pictograms yet, but 3.4 seems to work great for me so far. |

I'd assume your set is saved on the server, so it should be in the most recent release, as well? Either way, you could always get it back, again, I'm sure.
Just saying. :) |

Sets are now saved on the server.
So whichever version of 3.4 (and later) you use, and from whichever computer or place in the world, when you log in, you'll get the set that was saved the last time you played (with version 3.4, obviously). |

Yes: each account has its own wardrobe on the server. |

I'm not so sure!
I saw a few others with my picto earlier!
Also, still can't see the new picto's in all their glory. Parts of the picto's were still missing.
De Drinkplaats seems to be working well now! I went inside the circle as a bat and came out as a bat! (In the last one, when you went inside the circle as something other than a deer, you'd come out as a deer)
Also...
It's meant to be dark in the forest right now. Our candle antlers are lit, but the forest ground is still brightly lit, like it was a bright summer's day! |
