I didn't read all the posts of ideas, sorry didn't have much time, so if I repeat any just tell me and I'll delete.
Probably new actions were already suggested, but I have some specific ideas (by order of importance):
Arrow To point (at something)
Arrow To shrug shoulders
Arrow To roll eyes (or any other gesture meaning reprehension)

Detailed Description:

Pointing - There isn't much to explain about why I want this one. On the other hand... Sometimes pounding the ground might be misunderstood as a "stay here", or "cast a spell on me", or "sit with me", etc. Pointing would be as simple as raising a front leg to the desired direction. This would let us easily indicate what kind of spell we want, or which direction we want to go, etc, etc, etc. Even more useful than bowing, in my opinion.

Shrugging shoulders - Many times I wished to answer "It's ok", "Nevermind", or "I don't know", and I didn't know how. Usually I combine Confusion and Sad actions and get a quite realistic shoulders shrugging, but some other deers don't understand so. I know it's a human gesture, but so is the head nodding and this might come out as handy.

Rolling eyes - I'm not sure if I want this one, not just because of it's technical difficulty (I've never seen an animation where the deers move their eyes, so I guess it would mean core changes?...), not even because it's not very useful, but more because it could cause problems between some players. It could be seen as an offending display of scorn and cause fights. This is probably the most friendly community I've ever joined and I'd hate to wreak havoc to that unconsciously. But this one would be quite useful for those moments when we/our deer aren't feeling very cheery and some playful fawns or minis come by and start spamming moos and/or devote pelts and/or layers of very common, useless spells. Would be less offensive than just turning your backs, attacking or disconnecting.

ONLY A FEW MORE IDEAS PWEASE!!
Yet probably the list was closed already. I don't know, had no patience to read more than the first 11 pages.

Around 30 pages ago, people started talking about making areas with... darker themes. I just love that idea; gory creatures that your deer must avoid or satisfie somehow, otherwise you get penalized and your deer assumes a non-voluntair shape for some time. So:

Arrow The Path-like forest area/evil mirror-dimension (in a second in-game server) of the entire TEF map.
[second part was a sudden pro-post inspiration]

Just like in TP, the innocent creatures wandering too far from the safety of the forest they know would face their worst fears in symbolic, subliminar ways.
(I'd adore ToT for my whole life if they made something like that... I'd build a virtual altar to pray to them till I virtually die!!!!)
This place could have the same atmosphere than The Path: thick fog hiding shocking secrets, red-shaded water, an inconstant creepy soundtrack, and nothing in the background would look exactly the same each time you visit it. This place could also change its location, say, around once per day, and the entrance to it would be hidden. Only if this is not to hard to make, of course. Otherwise it could be always in the same spot but be hard to find, and not appear in the map until you're really close.

This way you could centre all the "monsters" and evil features here, and more cowardly deers could pick where to be (someone back there said their deer wouldn't show his face if a dragon showed up...)

This could also not be just an area but an evil mirror-dimension of TEF. And could work as a second server!! Think about that. 3 ideas united in one. There would be a second, perhaps inverted map, with a pond with the Kelpies, ruins with the Dragon and ghosts, and wolves/werewolves roaming in the shadows of a dark night-timed rainy forest (actually it's 5 ideas inside one!). The Twin Gods... Well... Their devote pelt could be black and red instead of white and pink, but with the same red eyes. And on the other dimension (the normal TEF) there would be the Unicorns, the Forest Lady, the Mermaid, all of that! (I don't like Unicorns and Mermaids much, just like some dislike Kelpies and Dragons; so this would satisfie everyone I think!)

This is probably the best idea I've ever had. But I'm conscient that it would be really hard to double the entire game. I'd surely throw all my bare pocket money onto this!!! I wouldn't eat and (bigger sacrifice) buy games for months to save for this bloody DREAM!!!!!!!

One thing is sure, I'll love you forever and ever and ever if you put this in the list...!!!
Obviously, if Michael thinks it's innapropriate, I'll understand Crying or Very sad or I'll try to Sad

I think somewhere M and A said no to something like this...since it's not very TEF like (only during halloween |D) and would encourage bad behaviour...but I could be wrong and thinking of something else. I also think if they added this, it'd ruin the specialness that came with Halloween. Since it's the only time when the Forest is dark and spooky like.

|D isnt that what Silent Hill is for?

Aw man... It seemed like such an idea in the moment Rolling Eyes Looks a bit silly now, but I still think there should be a scarier area for the monsters suggested earlier and specially a sort of a twin-pond for those Kelpies and a TP forest for the wolves. Embarassed Forget it then. May I suggest a more innocent idea then?

Arrow Animals with human faces just like the deers

I think it makes sense No? If the deers have faces... why wouldn't the animals they get transformed into have them?

It would be funny if they could have faces according to the gender (fawn, stag and old stag). Fawn-faced rabbits and squirrels would be a popular choice between most does. Ravens would look a bit like Harpies, which could be made into something cool. So would pidgeons. Bats would be literally Draculas. And the frogs-
Nevermind.

The deer have faces because the designer drew them that way. I think it would take away from the uniqueness of the forest if EVERYTHING had a human face ):

As for the wolves and kelpies- M&A have already stated that they will never come to be apart of the forest. No, nada, zip.

(:

Ah oops. This is what happens when one doesn't have the necessary patience for 42 pages of ideas and off-topic discussion.
Oh talking of off-topic, my back-up SpellData seems completly messed Crying or Very sad Doesn't work at all. But obviously I'm not gonna spam about that in this topic so- http://tale-of-tales.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8560

Please don't talk about Spelldata here, it's not the right place and M and A frown upon talking about Spelldata anywhere but the Life forum.

Arrow have a list to decide which animal we want to play (wolf, frog, monkey, etc. ..)
Arrow have a list of pelt, antlers and mask that we already have by another player, or whatever way we have got to be able to, take or take it away
Arrow have pools of mud and fun to take a mud bath (plus the option of being dirty or clean)
Arrow (Link with the suggestion from above) we have flies that look around when dirty
Arrow HAVE A MAP!

This game is about being a deer. The only way to be anything else is to have a transformation spell cast on you so you become a frog, dove, bat, squirrel, bunny, raven, or mini-deer.

As for the map, there is one. =] You can even click on the pictos to see who they belong to.

I may have discussed this with somebody before, but it's not on the list, so I thought I'd suggest it.

I use hotkeys a lot because sometimes I miss the right buttons, but it's a little bit annoying that you can't assign spells as a hotkey.

Arrow Make it possible to assign the spell casting button to the hotkey buttons (F1, F2, F3, etc.)

I like the idea of taking mud baths... and there should be a sandy area in the forest... a desert!
anyway: Id pay to the the evil demension of TEF though! and by pay, I mean seriouse money.... maybe TEF should have this thing were you'd have to pay to see the 2nd evil demension...but then again, A and M probably wanted TEF to be free.
Idea: instead of loosing your set, when you fall into the pond, you'd get teleported into the dead demention, were all the deer are sceletons! ((including you))

I think that'd be a big no.It'd defeat the purpose of having the pond as a "cleansing" area to get rid of all your spells. Some players might not appreciate being taken to some skeleton realm when they accidentally fall into the pond.

I dont think TEF needs anymore dark and evil things.
