Hi, There's probably alot of threads on this, but I thought I'd come along and show my appreciation aswell Smile

This sounds silly, but it was the first game in a long time to bring me to tears, and I dont't really know why, it got me very philosophical, the dogs and police cars barking, then the noise slowly receding as you move further in.....
It made me feel slightly insignificant and self reflective when she died, as I was expecting some sort of ending screen, but the world just carried on as normal, I was also struck by how peacefully and un-noticed she slipped away.

so umm....enough babbling on my part Razz nicely done I guess Smile

The same thing struck me when I played, how everything just continued after her death as if nothing had changed.

*similar-experience-highfive* Razz

Let me join the high-fiving! Smile

I really like that about The Graveyard. Death as part of life. And there's something very beautiful about that.

Well, I guess I'll post here instead of starting a new thread.

I agree, it got me thinking, really thinking about what it would be like, walking down that graveyard looking around you at a world that's changed since you lived in it, and knowing you were probably not gonna last long either. While at the same time I was watching all the pretty birds flying around, bringing life to this place of death.

Loved it, kudos Smile

Also, what I liked (that's not the right word >.>), same with The Path, was how the game gave me that uncomfortable feeling that I personally was responsible for her death. I was the one who forced her down that path. I could have turned around at any point, but noooo, my human curiosity and urge to see what the game had to offer had me walking her all the way to that bench.

(I only played it once, is there an alternate ending where she gets to live?) Sorry for the textwalls.

In the trial version of The Graveyard, the lady does not die.
In The Path all you need to do is do as you're told: stay on the path and nothing bad will happen.

Yeah, but no one will do that for the entire game. I like how you set it up. Smile
Instead of the game forcing you to take the dangerous path it's the player's curiosity and urge to disobey the game's rules that 'kills' the main characters.
