Oh, just downloaded the new one.

I think the lag has increased.

The lag has really gone up for me too in the release candidate. Right now, I'm getting 3-4 fps, and I've never gotten that low before, not even during Halloween.

When I tried Beta 3 of 3.3 I would get around 17-18 fps (probably because of less players...) and in 3.20 I would get around 14-15 fps. (I have Vista.)

Other than that, this new version has been incredibly glitch-free for me, you guys did a great job! c:

That's strange, it's been faster for me. Now I can have nature and character details all the way up without sacrificing speed, even when I'm around several other deer.
I also have Vista. But I think it has more to do with the computer than the operating system.

Oh yeah, I kinda threw the Vista notice in there without thinking where I was putting it. I realize now it probably does have more to do with my computer. Whoops.

I think I might test it out with different settings tonight. I've always ran it in windowed mode and maybe tweaking with some stuff like that will help my fps.

Edit: I reinstalled beta 3 of 3.3, and at first I had 12 fps, then I woke up. It went back down to 4 fps, and I had the same set I had on when I uninstalled the release candidate, and I was logged in! Surprised
I guess it might be something to do with my computer.... :c

Wierd....

It appears we're still have a giant bird problem. Laughing
I admit, I'd love to see someone pull that glitch with the bunny!

I was playing as a giant bunny the other day. Very Happy Soo adorable, I'm like the size of a fawn.

Laughing No Scape! This giant birds was the size of a regular deer and running around outside of the mushroom circle when it's supposed to wear off.

And Ephra, I need to see a screenshot of this!

I found a way to run around as a creature outside the mushroom circle, even with Beta version 3 hehe (:

The new client seems to be working fine for me, but for some reason not long after I boot my computer, a message pops up saying that The Endless Forest ran into a problem and needs to close. This is strange because it only appears at times when I've booted my computer and haven't actually told it to run.

I thought that the problem might have had something to do with me still having the installation files for the previous beta tests, so I've removed those entirely and for the moment the message seems to have stopped. But I figure I'd post this just in case anyone else has had odd cases where the game is trying to run itself on start-up.

Ephra/21 was the first one who reported the first beta version glitch Custard mentioned actually =) there were lots of ways of getting around the mushroom circle that were reported.

Yes, but Custard said there was a way in Beta 3.

Yes, it's one of the same ways. There may be no way to fix it. Requires logging in and out as a little animal, leaving the ring before your spelldata loads.

I'd just make it so you couldn't move whatsoever until your stuff loads. Server side data storage might help too.

That wouldn't make much sense for connecting.. and those who may play offline..

you don't need to run around to connect, and those who play offline can't get anything special you can't get when connected anyway. Why would you need to run around before all of your spells load? And if you have no spells, it could just detect that and let you get up, you won't have any transforming spells on you anyway so it won't matter.

As Nine said, it is unfixable.
It requires quitting the game and such, so it's not really a glitch.

So do you think the official release will work? I really hope so, Im so excited to play...and I dont want the same thing to happen that happened on WQ.

Its weird, though, that the pond glitched yet nothing else changed.
