| 50 pictograms? Are you kidding me! I think I may be the only person who still has one deer. |

50 pictos? Good lord! If one was actually using this many deer, it would get kind of complicated, I believe. I'm a strong proponent of breeding just one deer, but that's just me. I believe one deer will mae my experience beautiful and enjoyable.
But I'd say this is in fact the beauty of the game that makes one want to experiment with different options. The sad thing is when it turns out it just may be at the cost of potential new users and maybe taking too much bandwith too. |

No, you're not. I only use one deer xP
Although, when I originally signed up, I ended up registering two deer, due to some confusion over the registration process. So technically, I have two deer. I'd give someone the other deer, but I flat-out refuse to give away my E-mail address.
And who knows, I might end up using that deer someday. Meh, who knows. |

Having one deer has good points and bad points, one deer lets you just well...have one deer to play with and not have to worry about others. Others will also probably recognise you more because you only play that deer when you come on at whatever time. Though...you're stuck playing that deer with that personality over and over. Not that that's a bad thing.
Having more deer (I have 5) gives you a bit more diversity to play around with. And you can usually have a deer that may suit the mood you're in. Drawbacks are that you have to manage all these deer, make sure you try and give them equal amounts of play time. And you lessen the chanses of getting recognised in forest.

Email address has nothing to do with it. If the picto has been activated, then the email is no longer required. No one needs to know what email you used if you plan to give the picto away. You just give them the username and password. |

5 is manageable. But this doesn't count as a horde of deers, Just a small spawn.
Yeah, I realise that. Experientation with different options and various "personalities" is one alluring point, especially in an environment such as the Forest. I do like that. There is always the push to try something new and adopt a different approach to spice things up, I agree.
On the other hand, there is also the time factor. How do you manage more than one deer, stay up to date on the community website and the forums and any other activity you may be engaged in elswhere? It's all time consuming when you really want to try to be involved.
But then it depends on how you manage time too, I suppose. I'd be still inclined to fear, though, that it makes the experience, while "spice up" somewhat more "blurry" too, at the same time, since you need to manage multiple personalities. Well, it's a matter of preferences.
Be that as it may, I'm looking too meet all the multiple personalities out there. ^^ The Forest I"m sure, is all the more interesting thanks to you. Personaly, I will stick to one deer and possibly write stories about some others. |

I think it's easier then it seems to be, owning multiple deer. I guess the only difficult times is when you see one deer's friend inforest that you may not have seen for a while yet you're playing as another deer who they dont know.
Other then that I seem to manage just fine.
I think Lieka takes the cake for owning the most deer XD |

I dont do that, to avoid confusion XD;
And I find for me that their personalities kinda mould in with their pictos.
Everyone deals with pictos differently I guess o: |

I just have one, and it's character is Me. Whatever mood I'm in, the deer is in. When I want him to look different, so does he, and he changes. I never really saw the need to have more than one. I guess if you want to have characters that' one thing.. but hoarding 50? What the heck?
Especially after learning there are a limited amount of pictos. You'd think you'd want to leave them for new people who want to play to expand the game. If registration starts getting buggy and annoying, it might turn people away from the game.
So when ToT gets the new picto system going... consider not taking more than maybe 3? Just a thought. |

I don't know, if I had multiples I'd feel like I'm cheating on my main man Jay. And myself.... Because my deer is also myself. He's not a character. |

| Heh, speaking of deer characters, Hetrin is my main, basically me, and my anything-anytime deer. The other character I wish to make, well...he's just for fun, and to try a bit of roleplay. xD |

For those people willing to part with their surplus pictograms there could be a Pictogram Adoption thread here in the News section. The downside is I don't think you can change the username associated with pictogram. I assume that if there is personal information stored under the username that the person putting the pictogram up for adoption would erase that information first.
I have only the one pictogram. That's enough for me. |
