I've just got round to seeing and hearing the last, titular part of this 1981 trilogy film, as subbed and uploaded to YouTube by Niffiwan, and, almost from the get-go, it smelt strongly of Tale of Tales – the developer – and the concept of allowing variations of a folk tale to exist in one work. This film aimed at the same, though to humorous effect, in this different, older medium which rather overflows, comically, with the variations of even such a very simple tale as this. Credits are there for the reading at http://www.animator.ru/db/?ver=eng&p=show_film&fid=4932
