Have you played electroplankton, Auriea?
I tried making a few “proper” pieces with it, but I found it was more of a toy, really. And that’s just fine. It’s a wonderful toy.
I’ll have to play this at a later date, looks interesting.

Elecktroplankton was one of the main reasons I bought a DS… I think its a really great toy/tool. Quite fun and relaxing giving way to creative possibilities if you get into it. I too have used it for “composition” =) but I think the homebrew music instruments people are making show that so much more is possible. I find he DS interface is great for realizing synesthetic connections between color, sound, motion and interaction.
