Yes, its very sad :(
and we are not happy at all about our game being pirated.
but we only hope that some of those people will like the game, and decide to buy it anyway.
maybe some have the heart to support developers who are making something new and different.
its not that sales are not important to us, we just know that some people pirate things just because they can.... they are not our customers. never would be. but some people will come back and be honest.

>>Including pirates, i suppose. We know they are out there and really consider them to be part of the inevitable force of the Internet.
But nobody dares to post links to warez on official sites of large monopolies alike MS or Autodesk or Electronic Arts, fearing the prosecution. From the other hand, small independent studios are much more vulnerable laking resurces and time (time is valuable for work, not for barratry!) to chase pirates, while sales cannot be compared with monsters like that Electronic Arts. Problem is what gaining fame by being pirated resulting with loss of profit. Fallout, Planescape: Torment or Vampire Bloodlines became cult classics with much help of pirates (especially in ex-USSR countries), but studios are closed, some brands sold and new titles of major publishers are bloated with DRM, orientated on people with lack of taste and imagination.

thanks well-wisher.... it is hard to keep up on comments, especially in languages we do not know. and we understand about the lower system requirements but really it is a miracle to get The Path running on the Mac at all. We know that Mac users will like the game though, so we reach who we can. Including pirates, i suppose. We know they are out there and really consider them to be part of the inevitable force of the Internet. thanks again!

By the way, be prepared to responses alike Jensen's one. Transgaming solution for porting Direct3D applications is quick-n-dirty, it needs lot more horsepower than native OpenGL Carbon or Cocoa MacOS X applications to run.

I have to say, I am disappointed that my black 2.0 ghz core 2 duo macbook with integrated graphics will not be able to play this game. . I know technical reasons prohibit, but just putting a word in for lower graphical requirements next time...

Since you're using Transgaming technology anyway will there be a future Linux release? I'd gladly pay for that.

This is awesome! I was a PC for a long time and now that I switched I am feeling the pinch of lacking game support. If only steam would see the light.
