		<description>I entirely agree with your description, I was very seduced by these shapes and strong contrasts, as they comprise a discrete hint of orientalism. I was also surprised to see that the pattern used for his tree branches deeply resembles the way that animal blood vessels spread and curl: a powerful reminder that life abounds in nature, namely in the trees? But then again, he uses very static forms and cold colors, whereas life is filled with dynamism and warmth. What a remarkable artist...
